Fine weather persists until early May before a thundery change
A گستensived high-pressure system stretching from the Norwegian Sea to west of Ireland continues to advect dry continental air across our regions. While disturbances over the North Sea bring temporary cloudiness, conditions remain largely stable and mild.
Monday will be partly veiled, with clearer spells developing later. Highs: 17–22°C inland, 12–16°C along the coast.
On Tuesday, a strengthening northeasterly wind (gusts 40–60 km/h) will accompany continued sunshine and temperatures of 18–23°C inland.
Wednesday and Thursday will be sunny and warmer, with highs up to 25°C.
Friday (May 1st) turns warmer still (locally 26°C), but thunderstorms will develop late in the day, spreading overnight with locally heavy rainfall.
The weekend will begin unsettled before conditions stabilise again and turn cooler.
Outlook: initially dry and mild, followed by a renewed risk of thunderstorms later in the week.
